Does anyone have any suggestions for a decent online brokerage that a very small time player can get into with only several hundred dollars? I'd like to play around with some ETFs and such to wet my feet a little to learn and maybe work my way into other things. I hear lots of negative things about Scottrade and TD, etc., but I wonder if the criticism is valid for serious traders only. Any advice would be very appreciated.
