TD Ameritrade is one also although you get a variation of quality of human customer service. Some are quite competent but some leave much to be desired.
From my experience the most profitable traders complain the least. The least profitable traders whine constantly about execution etc.
Thank US obsession with money laundering and foreign country protection for local financial institutions.
I don't think this is actually true. I do something about $1000 a day (not week) in comms and they still treat me the same as always. On hold forever and then good luck getting elevated to someone who isn't a drooling moron. Maybe my account is flagged or something, hahah.
Call up and ask if you are getting premium support. I forget what the program is called. I had to ask to get it. Remind them how much you are doing in commissions.
Wow. Why is this kept a secret? This would have been great to know a year ago. I'm in the process of moving to a different broker (for other reasons) so too late for me, but this will be very useful knowledge for someone.
I don’t see anything on this ... is this a myth? I know people mentioned that their customer service is tiered based on your account size/status, but I haven’t seen anything official. @def?
