Broker with IB like stock comms without inactivity fees?

    For your needs, I think it would hard to beat Fidelity.

  3. IB does not require you to subscribe to any data feeds.

    " There is no requirement to subscribe to market data in order to trade, and customers are free to receive market data from another IB account or data vendor, or to use only delayed market data."

    With no data feed, If you don't pay at least $10 a month in commissions, IB charges you $10 a month.
