    Hey guys,

I'm new to futures, I'll be trading commodities, mostly gold & oil and i'm looking for a good broker for daytraders.

    Thanks.

I'm with IB. Be prepared to use a different platform. They have the best execution and wonderful prices but TWS is utter trash. Do yourself and buy a charting/trading platform that is written by people who actually trade.

  5. You can link DAS trader to an IB account. So much better than TWS.

  6. ThinkorSwim is just so hard to beat. I switched to tastyworks for the lower commissions, but if you need charting for your strategy and the analyze tab, TOS is hard to beat. I switched back to TOS from tastyworks.

I used to hate TWS, but now I like it. It takes some getting used to. Can't comment on the charting part as I use my own software for that.

MotiveWave is a great front-end option to use with IB.

The NinjaTrader platform can be used with Interactive Brokers or NinjaTrader Brokerage.

We can find the right platform and the clearinghouse that will match the margin requirements you need.
