Hi, I trade options on futures. The broker I am with right now has a high commission rate unless I get up into 1000+ contracts/month. Are there any brokers that you guys have used for futures' options that you would recommend looking into? Thank you
$12.99 is way too high. BTW is that per side or RT? Commissions do depend on what type of futures options you trade. On a bundled basis Interactive Brokers commissions per side for futures options range from $1.81 (emini equity) to $6.00 (floor traded agriculture). Unbundled might be a better deal if you do some volume and do not hold short options overnight.
