Broker Lied To Me To Force Me To a Margin Call.

  2. What did you get filled at and what were the bids/offers at the time? I see that INFO recently reverse-split, so there could have been some confusion that day with people accidentally paying the post-reverse-split price before the actual split. I once bought some COCO or CECO the day before its split when a number of people were offering the post-split price pre-market, and wasn't surprised when I got a call from the broker saying all the trades were going to be busted.

    All that aside, using words like "lie" and "theft" in this situation is completely inappropriate, and is likely to get you absolutely nowhere with the broker, particularly since, as others have said, they have nothing to do with the bust process unless they mishandled it after being notified by NASDAQ.
