What do you think about opening multiple accounts with several brokers? What are the pros and cons?

    Thanks.

By the way, I am still looking for THE best one who deserve all of my commissions, funds, and business. Since it is not found yet, I have to diversify.

I don't like to get my capital split up. I try to make as efficient use of my capital as possible, and it would be too cumbersome for me to be making trades in two or three accounts at the same time. I suppose it would be good to have a back up broker, but I have used IB for about a year and a half, and I haven't had enough technical problems to make me consider splitting my account. If you want to daytrade stocks in the US, you also have to consider how many accounts you can open and still have enough in each to avoid the daytrading rules.

  4. In multiple accounts, you're not getting the most bang out of leverage.
