ThinkorSwim provides an autotrade service. It works like this. ThinkorSwim maintains a list of newsletters that publish trade recommendations. A customer can sign up for one of the newsletter services and Thinkorswim will then automatically execute the trades of that newsletter. i can't see why anyone would sign up for this. what do they charge for it? it seems like a good way for a broker to charge higher commisions and churn accounts. I can create my own newsletter or blog and send out recommendations. Would anyone pay for this? I'll even write an application to place the trades through your broker.
