Hi all, I hope all of you are well and safe. A broker for cfds on futures like soybean is desparately needed. Not for trading soybean cash, but a cfd on the proper contract like soybean meal Mar 21. Any hint, where I could look? Thanks -- and stay safe
There is not enough liquidity or retail interest for such AG products. Btw almost all CFDs are hedged with futs and follow a midpoint of front month and cash price.
FXCM and a few other similar brokers have the 3 main grains, one of them (Oanda?) has Bean Oil or maybe Meal but that's ablout it. If you're in the UK, IG Index has all 5 of them via spread bets but the spread is wide so only good for longer term trades. IG might offer them on CFDs, check with them. As jbt says, there's not much retail interest in the grain complex.
But if I am not completely off, there are restrictions for US citizens that they cannot trade those kind of instruments?
US brokers cannot offer CFDs to US citizens. Actually, I guess Euro brokers cannot offer them to US peeps as well.
