Unfortunately though it's all based on debt. Individuals in the UK have twice the personal debt of those in the rest of Europe. Without high per capita productivity to support the high spending the UK economy is in a fragile state.
The UK depends heavily on financial services. The UK has a bigger housing crisis than the U.S. The redcoats are going to have their shit pushed in soon.
