  2. China built the largest airport in the world in UNDER 5 years.

    https://www.wired.com/story/beijing-daxing-busiest-airport-design/

Now I think anyone can agree that an airport is a damn sight more complex than a friggin wall.

But Trump didn't even get his wall built in all of 4 years in power ???

Now people actually think he's gonna achieve the totally impossible this time araound with his fairy tale tariffs that didn't work in 2018 -see above - cause, ya know, THIS time round it's, err, different ???

    Gimme a break.

Inflation will go down? Oh now that is funny. He's on a personal vendetta with Powell to get his sacred rate cut. Maybe he even thinks tanking the economy is worth it to get it? But if he does eventually get it and consumer prices continue to soar can you please explain how inflation will fall?

He must be doing monthly/regular additions to TQQQ in his retirement fund. Whenever Nasdaq goes down 1%, his investment goes down 3%. Explains why he panics.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/10/technology/trump-chips-act.html

As President Trump addressed Congress last week, he veered off script to attack a sensitive topic, the CHIPS Act, a bipartisan law aimed at making the United States less reliant on Asia for semiconductors.

Republican lawmakers had sought and received reassurances over the past few months that the Trump administration would support the program Congress created. But halfway through Mr. Trump’s remarks, he called the law a “horrible, horrible thing.”

“You should get rid of the CHIP Act,” he told Speaker Mike Johnson as some lawmakers applauded.

The CHIPS program was one of the few things to unite much of Washington in recent years... After President Joseph R. Biden Jr. signed it into law in 2022, companies found sites in Arizona, New York and Ohio to construct new factories.

Now, Mr. Trump is threatening to upend years of work.

  9. "America is losing nearly a thousand jobs a day because of Trump’s war against cheaper, faster, and cleaner energy. Congressional Republicans have a choice: get in line with Trump’s job-killing energy agenda or take a stand to protect jobs and lower costs for American families.”

    From Picasos Forbes article.

    Mind boggling.

Just absolutely mind boggling beyond belief !!!

The sheer incompetence of Trump is probably only rivaled by Putins Russia he so admires, a third world country with absolutely nothing on offer but some oil keeping em afloat, barely at that, and a buncha nukes left over from a more powerful, but long gone past.

That apart, the only things that work there, greatly at that, haha, are incompetence and corruption.

    That Trumps MAGA plan ?

    lol

Trump announced this (OK, it was ***signed*** on his watch), but it was negotiated by Biden's team (see my previous post on the CHIPS act).

So Taiwan, who played ball, gets screwed anyway with a 32% tariff + an upcoming yet to be determined specific tariff on chips AND the CHIPS Act (and its subsidies, etc.) is on the chopping block.

What if now Taiwan backtracks? And remember, Trump just gave them a "force majeure" (Act of "God"? :D) exit justification.
