Will Americans be ready to pay between 10% and maybe 500% more for stuff to make "America great again"? Why is Trump hiring Mexicans for his Mar-a-Lago estate? Trump has a Rolls Royce (not made in the US), a Lamborghini Diablo (not made in the US), a Mercedes-Benz SLR Mc Laren (not made in the US)... Bringing hand made back to America. For who?
In other words: seen the size of production it will not make America great again. For that you need a big production and lots of workers. And then the labour cost enters the game and production moves to low wage areas. Not really a motivation to move to the US... Expensive bags can be made in the US, and red caps will be made in China. You know which caps I mean... On the other hand: each bag that will be made in the US equals between 1,000 and 3,000 red caps in value.
