Bright trading and any thoughts

  1. Don Bright,

Do you have to take the 4 week class to join Bright ?

If not, what would the trader be missing (other than trading education).

    Thanks

  2. Where have you seen "0.001/share" offered by Bright?

The lowest they go is 0.004/share, and that is probably only for their traders doing more that 10million shares a month.

  3. I should of clarify ... I meant 0.001 to 0.01 at other firms (not Bright)

  4. Training is optional of course, but if you haven't been making a good 6 figures, I would suggest you consider checking out what our people are doing.

  5. All shares for everyone above 1000 shares on any given order are .004. The first 1000 shares are a sliding scale down to .004 (and not 10 million, LOL.."I wish" ).....

Just remember to consider the whole package...we may not be the best for every possible situation, but better than most overall IMO.

    Due diligence guys, regardless.

I think that's a legitimate concern. I have heard similar horror stories of a trader's edge soon becoming the contents of a prop firms new training material. While it may help generate more commissions for the firm, it really sucks for the experienced traders with creative trading ideas being stolen. The mental alarms should start signalling went you hear a firm talk about "sharing what's working" or "free flow of information" within the firm. Any successful trader knows that his/her edge incrementally deteriorates (or evaporates) as more traders use the same strategy. This is exactly why these concerns are so critical to be mindful of. There was a good thread on the topic a few years back with some good discussion:

what % would you guys say you net out before taxes per month trading with bright? 50%, 60%, 70% etc

so, thats gross profit - desk fees & commissions and anything else they charge for.

I trade with a firm here in canada and after everything is said and done I seem to walk away with 50% of my gross trading profits (b4 taxes)

    thx

I am wondering how much money do you have to put up front if you are planning to remote trade with Bright trading.

    Thanks.
