Aside from the fact that the market isn't fractal, none of this has any particular relevance to this thread. Please keep the Hershey stuff in the Hershey thread. Thank you.
We are well past the point of reaching the bottom of the trend channel that niko posted earlier and have also broken the 10/9 trendline posted at the beginning of the Ghost thread, which today was at 24.0. At the moment, the NQ is at 3503. It's unlikely that any of the bloviators will comment on this, but it is after all a 64pt trade. So far. Too bad these lines don't work Edit: Incidentally, if we drop below 3470 or thereabouts, we'll be back inside the long-term trend channel (2009).
Not a problem, thank you for clarifying the intended purpose of your thread in regards to my thoughts. Definitely not trying to impose on anyone or bring things off topic. However, if you don't mind, would it this be a permissible place for you to briefly sum your views of the nature of the market if you don't believe it has a fractal nature? Perhaps we are having a difference of terminology, on the first page of the thread you appear to be demonstrating the existence of a channel within a channel, which is what I see as a fractal ["similar phenomena or constructs re-occurring on progressively smaller scales"] Thanks again for all of the time and effort you put forth into helping others.
That's pretty much what I've done for the past six months, not counting TL. So, no. Good luck to you though.
I suppose I never understood from your writing that you view Auction market theory, and the related demand / supply relationship as being incompatible with the repeated constructs generated by them on different levels. For example, there is a macro-imbalance of demand in excess of supply this year. Each month within this imbalance, you talk about the smaller imbalances occur within. So on and so forth for weeks, days, minutes... That was more-so what I was asking about, sorry for coming across like I was looking for a re-hash of the past material. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to respond to my posts today, I appreciate it. Hope everyone here continues to do well!
So all told a 74pt downmove and a 69pt trade. And while I haven't read every post in every thread, it appears that the only person to profit from this was NoDoji. And she's a price-action trader. I wonder if there's any connection there. Hmm.
talking about connections.. check this thread DB , reminds me alot about you and your threads http://elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=144884
You and NoDoji are both lucky, that's it. There is no magic and there is no price action dance going on there that's decipherable. Quit trying to make us all believe in fairies. Unless one has super computers with HFT, and the optimized indicators, it's just an uphill battle against the manipulators. Nobody can beat the connected and the manipulative insiders. Those who say otherwise are just plain lying. You and NoDoji just change your comments after the fact, as you have special access, and make everyone believe you know what you're doing, when it's clearly not the case. You both probably work for the Fed. More likely it's the FedEx. Ok, I don't want to waste my time with time wasters. Time is money, but money is not time. Huh? I know you won't get it. Oh, it's time for me to go and do some real work, and make money at the same time. If you need a discount at Wendys let me know, I have connections. Gringo
DB i guess its time for a new thread , "son of if you can draw a straight line`s ugly sister" with the following approach mapping the terretory wait till price comes to your levels taking into consideration the behaviour of the participants at those levels watch for imbalances in supply and demand at those levels pull the trigger and take responsibility for your position
