I know Biden’s approval ratings well. I started a whole thread on it where I explained it jeopardized his agenda and lo and behold his agenda then was stalled. In many ways I was the first on the block with it and applied the correct analysis.

It’s one of those things where you just have to listen to me know and maybe you’ll understand later on. Having this “affirmative action” “skin color” argument is stupid. It does not benefit anyone and is just wrong.

History shows we can make pledges to nominate women for justices and no one bats an eye but the moment we add black to the mix people lose their minds. It’s absurd. It makes zero difference in the qualifications or talents available. Absolutely none whatsoever.

You can Austin and Harris were bad picks and criticize them on their actions or merits. I mean George W Bush nominated the cleaning lady for the Supreme Court and had to rescind for not being qualified. But the moment you take an opportunity away from someone because of their race or gender or whatever you become an asshole. You’re not even giving them the chance to try and fail.

So what, you’d get buried by the top black LSAT takers. That’s how many people? Thousands! Say it with me, there are thousands of qualified black women to be a Supreme Court justice. Stop being a dick.

The number gets sparser the farther out you go on the right tail of the distribution curve. At Supreme Court aptitude level, it gets extremely sparse.

  6. How surprised do I look at the sight of Mr. Binary not being able to handle more than one factor in evaluating a nominee?

Out in the real world- and this is not a convenient truth for Mr. Binary- I have heard many dem/lib pundits object to Biden's handling of this. They argue that there simply is no reason for him to be as clumsy as he is. It takes very little effort to go in the other direction AND IS MORE RESPECTFUL TO THE NOMINEE- if he simply emphasizes that he is going to select the very best candidate and leave it at that. And then go on to choose a black woman as the nominee. It's a great wayy to go but not something a clumsy fucking idiot can finesse. Instead, Biden is so anxious to beat his chest and declare political victory and remind voters what a great guy he is- to help with his sagging polls- that he just goes back into that repetitive "I promised you a skin color person and I got one for ya" type of low level rhetoric.

And of course, in a roundabout way, he promised the Asians that they will not be picked nor will they be interviewed.

Anyway, you and Biden apparently enjoy circling the toilet bowl, so enjoy the ride. Maybe have some giggles with Kamala on the ride. She is a cheap date, already drunk when you pick her up.

The Ivy law school admissions offices, law review selection committees and other judges would disagree.
