da fuq are you on about. 2nd largest by GDP in Europe, so do one. British humour is indeed world class, that's why we export it in such good measure. Don't underestimate Theresa May, she is made of the same stuff as Merkel. Actually they are very similar and I expect UK & Germany to forge strong links. The UK & Germany are the powerhouse of Europe, take them away and you have a debt ridden socialist mess.
No sir I am most certainly not a racist. People need to get over the whole racist pc thing, we are past that in the well developed countries now. The stupid racist people on the right wing need to stfu and stop being brain dead(there aren't many of them left) plus the ethnic minorities need to stop calling foul every time a decision doesn't go their way. It's tired, it's old hat people need to move on. There is a black president FFS anyone can get on in the west if they are willing no matter what race they are.
yes the pound dropped well done. I choose long term Sovereignty and Control over short term currency movements every single time. We are in the position to defend our currency with monetary policy if necessary, something that countries in the Eurozone do not have. Never has the phrase 'short term pain for long term gain' been more appropriate.
I am no Trump fan but don't underestimate him. Outwardly he comes across as brash & tacky but he is highly intelligent. Let's say he knows who his audience is, he knows the core vote. Clinton would be a disaster for the US.
Agree with most of your points though I was joking re British humor. I think it should be apparent to you that hardly anyone laughs at British humor outside the UK. I would go as far as claiming even the Irish and Scots don't find it funny. And I think Britain is indeed on a good path, after all most are realizing more and more that they just play a tiny role in world economics in the same way every other country makes up a small percentage. Gone are the time of British hegemony and colonial influence. Some still need to come to terms with that fact but I think the trajectory is about right.
What makes you think he is highly intelligent other than his realizing that times were rife for someone to address the misguided fears of the masses and to fill them with more fear and anger. An intelligent leader and someone who cares would look for solutions not to exacerbate fears and anger. His accumulated wealth is rather testimony to stupidity than intelligence given he hugely underperformed a passive index tracker over decades.
no you are plainly wrong and you are still biting down on your brexit anger. Our intelligent sarcastic humour is not to everyone's taste but i can tell you it is enjoyed around the world by those who understand it. Just look at the highest paid stand up comedians in the world, they are mainly americans with the odd Brit thrown in. The WORST country in the world for humour is Germany imo. Are you serious? You think we are on a good path after all this Brexit bashing. Man you are FOS. You changing tune is entirely predictable as great swathes of Europe will follow the patriotic spring. Once all the emotion has died down you will see that obviously we are on a much better path and other will wake up to this realisation soon enough. There are reports this weekend that the Germans and some other leaders are considering giving the UK a 7 year opt out of free movement whilst we remain in the single market. You guys in the EU can all have a big debate about it in the EU parliament, where NONE of you have any power. Whatever you debate you will be told what to do by Merkel via the commissioners, if you don't vote for it they will simply change it until you do vote for it. That's the single market sorted then. bisous.
Yes he realises the time was right and yes he prays on misguided fears. He has been planning this move for the majority of his adult life imo. He will stoke fear and anger and the uneducated will vote for him, he knows that, we both know that, cant sugar coat it that's just the way it is. The amount he inherited will never be known as its private within his family. Yes he had a huge leg up from his father in terms of capital and advice, he worked his way up in manhattan whilst his father built out queens and brooklyn. There is nothing to support your passive index tracker claim, that's guff. Yes he was born with a silver spoon and given capital but he built up the manhattan business. Whatever happens if he gets in he will propose solutions and make big changes. Some good and some bad, he will not show weakness like obama has or clinton will. He is utterly correct about the US losing their competitive edge and jobs to other countries. When he talks of chinese currency manipulation and there being no chevrolets in Tokyo he shows insight.
another of your dark hours on logic? "We in the UK have intelligent sarcastic humOUr and it is evidenced by the many number of highly paid American stand up comedians". Wow, again, you blatantly failed logic 101. Germans never claimed to be funny or humorous people. They claim to be hardworking and logical people, overall and on average. And to that they seem to be very willing to be held accountable. And, in the context of having your brain cleansed from the colonial uber-mensch mentality, many Brits still exhibited until recently, the country is on a good path to recognize that those times are over and each single trade agreement now has to be hammered out with many dozens of countries. And any country that has an edge in terms of trade will not give a rat's ass who invented factory machinery or ruled anywhere in Africa more than a century ago. In that a real re-think is currently going on and that can only be positive. So, again, you have completely taken me out of context my friend. Let's see what agreements will be made when it is time to make them. You also screamed at first that Britain will take its time to trigger Article 50 and triumphed how it would take until September until the British parliament would decide on the next prime minister. Now it is July and you have your new one. In the same speedy manner will you trigger article 50 early next year and in 2 years all is said and done to everyone's satisfaction. You were already proven wrong on the speed your parliament moved forward, exactly what Germany and Europe REQUIRED the UK to do after its decision to exit.
