I consider her a person not a minority Are you making the argument that because she has a certain skin pigment that we should not expect her to make life choices in her best interest
Regardless what you consider her, she was, in fact, a minority in a racist society. Regardless of her legal life-choices, she did not deserve to die in the manner that she did.
Neither did Mekhi James. https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/2...ard-for-information-of-shooter-austin-chicago
Exactly. Let's catch the criminals ... police or otherwise. Especially corrupt police, since they are on the public payroll, and are given police powers, and are sworn to serve and protect.
Madoff was a corrupt businessman. No one had a problem with bringing him to justice--a corrupt businessman that swindled (not killed) multiple non-minorites. Murica only has a problem with bringing corrupt LEO's to justice when their homicidal corruption is directed towards minorities. I look forward to discussing this with @Mercor et al.
Inner-city gang violence poses a much greater risk to minority youth than police violence. Yet the media remains silent on the issue, rather they focus on entirely on White on Black, specifically police abuse issues promoting racial hatred. No one likes a bad cop, yes they should be brought to justice but there are other racial problems that are just as important and would have a greater impact.
My whole approach is to avoid getting people in these situations This is greatly overlooked in the attempt to slap racism on it. When you are pulled over don't talk back , don't plead your case. Hands at 10-2 o'clock , interior lights on, windows down, license in hand Not one person has been shot sitting in the drivers seat following these rules. There you go problem solved
bringing up criminals killing minorities in a conversation about cops killing minorities makes as much sense as brining up heart disease killing minorities in a conversation of criminals killing minorities.
