RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel tests positive for COVID-19

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel has now tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman.

Haberman’s sources say that McDaniel, who is the niece of Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), tested positive for the virus on Wednesday, or a day before White House aide Hope Hicks tested positive.

  3. He is obese and that will present problems if he has a serious case.
Will we see him in a Chris Cuomo type environment? If he's on camera doing his usual thing, then all is well. If he disappears then we know he's got the full dose Covid and that's not so good. In that case he could recover but it could take several weeks. If he's bedridden on or near election day the definitive edge swings to Biden, IMO. If he's out and about fully recovered by mid month, then he is the indestructible Orange Beast destined to rule the world.

And again you've failed to acknowledge how many who survive have chronic health issues. It's a reality many of you have dismissed throughout.

White House coronavirus adviser Scott Atlas reacts to Trump's coronavirus diagnosis, says 'zero reason to panic'
Trump and the first lady announced early Friday that they both tested positive for COVID-19
    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/wh...full-rapid-recovery-says-zero-reason-to-panic

    -------------

'Atlas called the president a “super vigorous man,” adding that he has “never seen anyone with more energy and more vigor, at any age, but particularly at his age.”

“He is a very, very healthy guy,” Atlas said. “And the overwhelming majority of people, even at his age, do fine with this. He is very healthy, and so I anticipate the same for him.”'

(Atlas believes that Trump has lots of vigor.... the guy can barely walk a ramp.)

Note from the video that Hope Hicks was feeling poorly on Air Force 1 and had to be quarantined on the plane.

  7. He is a self-involved, perpetually lying conman. And you trust him with the governance of your country. I'd say you offer him a tad too much consideration.

And remember, he still would not apologize for taking out a full-page ad demanding the execution of the Central Park Five, who have since been completely exonerated, and the prosecutor was discredited. He still thinks they're guilty. Oh, yeah, and they're black.

Meanwhile, Trump recently defended Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, accused of shooting three people. Oh, yeah, Kyle? White.

  8. I will spare y'all my four previous Don Rumsfeld quotes about "unknown, unknowns" and how ultimately this election would be controlled by them. Then came covid, then came the george floyd riots.....and now.

You're trying to obfuscate here. This isn't about whether he is self-involved, and a perpetually lying conman. I agree he is self-involved and a perpetually lying individual. I don't believe he is a conman.

I attack Trump when I believe he is in err or does wrong, I defend him when I believe he didn't and is attacked for something that isn't warranted. You may feel I offer him a tad too much leeway, but you just go after him no matter what he does because you hate him. I sympathize with this position, but it isn't a fair approach.

He isn't racist. At least not under the definition that Webster and anyone who is fair would apply that term to.

I would defend Kyle Rittenhouse as well because of what happened. I do not believe his crimes are racially motivated. He was stupid, but that's about all. Just because he is white has absolutely nothing to do with it. Am I racist, too?
