hello, trade US equities intraday. I would like to know any software or ways to monitor to large increases in vol that are way above or below the "norm" today, i saw AET ran up big time, then saw on the new wires, it was related to news but if I knew the big breakout due the increase of vol I could have had a chance. I would like to be able to monitor stocks vol and if the average is broken by a large % I would like some type of alert... sorry for a vague post here is the chart on AET, see the vol is average then all the buyers came in. the info came in on the newswires after it moved.
