Brazil's Bovespa index jumps 3 pct to record high Mon Oct 1, 2007 2:56pm EDT SAO PAULO, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Brazil's benchmark stock index surged 3 percent on Monday to a record on increased investment inflows and as global markets rallied. The Bovespa (.BVSP: Quote, Profile, Research) index of the Sao Paulo stock exchange rose to 62,284 points from Friday's close of 60,465.06. The index, which has reached successive records the past week, has jumped nearly 40 percent in 2007.
