The banks are run by white people and many have blue eyes and they were corrupt as shit. That does not excuse Brazils problems but the observation is correct. The question is what is his point?
Last time I checked it was our gov. that was in the pocket of financial institutions. This is why there was so little regulation and oversight. If it was the other way around (that is the gov. was in control and had power over banks) the amount of regulations would be a lot higher. Just look at your CC agreement. That thing is so convoluted many lawyers much less regular folk would have trouble understanding it.
Brazilian leader is kissing up to Obama, probably he will get a trillion or two out of the US government, why not, everybody else is... I was looking at the fact that Acorn got 3.5 Billion dollars out of the bailout package... that would bring mortgage payments current for 350,000 homeowners if they needed $10,000 to catch up.... this admin is nuts and an easy target for commies, they will all cash in on it...
