Romney will skip debate hosted by Donald Trump PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) â Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says he will not participate in a debate being hosted this month by real estate mogul and TV personality Donald Trump. Romney told Fox News on Tuesday that he called Trump and told him he would not attend. Several prominent Republicans have urged candidates to skip the Trump debate. They predict it will be a media circus and a distraction from important issues. Trump has suggested that President Barack Obama is foreign-born. He also has not ruled out a presidential bid as a third-party candidate. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has said he will attend Trump's Dec. 27 forum.

I have realized that the further the GOP leans right, the more I lean left, and I know I am not alone. So, some folks on this site, including you, claim to be patriots. And I am not saying that you are not. But what is the message of the GOP other than ABO?
Cut spending. Ease taxation. Promote business and employment. Defend the country and the interests of the country around the world. Work towards energy independence. Have you been living under a rock? All of these conservative ideas have been out there in the open unlike the democrats who prefer to scheme in private and conspire to redistribute wealth ala socialism behind closed doors.

Obama is ALL about class warfare, forced wealth redistribution from earners to non producers, increased federal government power/control over the individual, more more and more federal regulations and reduced individual liberty. And you willingly give him a pass on all of it, despite your ridiculous claims of being a libertarian, because you think it was high time a black man, qualified or not, got to play God in the White House. Just because some of your long dead ancestors had the misfortune of being enslaved by a more developed/powerful culture. Really? Obama is about class warfare? Well if you believe that the income gap between the haves and have nots is the highest it has ever been, and you have a problem with that, then yep, Obama is a class warrior and I support that. As far as a higher a more developed culture goes, if you are actually saying, that the West is the most violent culture the world has ever seen I agree with that too.
