Oh my God didnt you see the 2nd to last play? defense called a blitz from teh CB who was covering Kupp. On te blitz Kupp ran a seam route wide open because his man blitzed and he caught the pass wide open and ran for 44 yards. Next play was the winning FG. No way any intelligent Defensive Coordinator calls a blitz for the guy covering the best WR in the game and giving him a 10 yard wide open lane to catch and go full speed. Scroll down to the twitter clip of his catch and watch the replay of the blitz leaving the safety naked who Kupp just ran right by. I dont know who the DC is for Tampa but that was a horrible call. Tampa a good team but the magic is over, they will not get to the conference championship even. https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2022/01/23/rams-cooper-kupp-matthew-stafford-catch-highlight/
Yeah but that play cost Tampa a trip to the Conference championship.... really stupid. But another year and team chemistries change. Rams are surging and Tampa will still be up there but I dont see them returning.
I read that they traded Woods to the Titans for a 6th-round pick? Something about a salary cap deal, because they picked up Robinson from the Bears? I was never a fan of Allen Robinson, but maybe that will be the kinda' move like they did with Stafford last year. They gave up a lot of drafting real-estate last year for Stafford, and it worked out. Will it work out with A.R.? We shall see.
Brady retired and the Wildchild called it. Then he decided to un-retire and that was a huge mistake. Its over and this season should have never happened. Huge mistake by Brady.
Tom was too hung up on this whole idea of "I want to retire my football career when I turn 45." Which is kinda odd, because he turned 45 during the pre-season. Why didn't he just let it go? He's a football whore, addicted to the game more than his family. I agree. He screwed this one up.
You dont want to go out ugly. Even though Peyton Manning won a SB at the end, he went out ugly and was a shell of his former self. Ben looked awful last year. Favre looked awful at the end. This is only week 6. I cant imagine it is getting any better for him. His only saving grace is the NFC South sucks, but does he really want to make the playoffs at 9-8 only to get bounced hard. After he won the SB with TB he proved he couild do it without Bill. There was nothing more he needed prove. He is the greatest of all time, but it is over. No one needs to see this.
Shortly after this press conference there are reports that Brady said "I should have listened to Wildchild, damn it, I should have listened to Wildchild!"
