BP is gone. Under 5 in 12 months

Discussion in 'Stocks' started by myoffices, Jun 11, 2010.

  1. Its not about the money its about the life we leave behind for our children which is Priceless. 200B couldn't buy that. Its the "idiot" who thinks money is everything. Its nothing and when you have it (money)you realize that. That is why the rich do philanthropy. Life is about what you leave for the future and how you impact the present.

America has rescued the world financial disaster and yet no one has the courtesy to say maybe we understand people. As bad as it may be here its better than anywhere else in the world. You can find clean water to drink and a dollar (even if its begging for 4 quarters can get you something of a value meal) So when you try to put down america remember we are the sum of the worlds parts. We are the shining example of how to live with diversity where your neighbor is different and you respect each other. We can agree to disagree without an angry mob burning down your house raping your wife and your kids. The momentum is building and BP will be made an example of. The writing is on the walls. It has nothing to do with fundamentals.

Oh by the way just watch and see who acquires the assets thats the upside play.

  2. That's sort of like asking for a credible source for the speculation that a week in Paris is going to cost you more than $500. It's an appeal to common sense.

In fact you just made my argument for me. Not sure if you can spot it or not.

  3. Would BP stick 20 Billion in an escrow fund just to appease Obama and Co. , doesn't make much sense unless they believe they are liable for it. "Negligence" the most expensive word in the english language.

  4. ignorance is bliss and nobody demonstrates this better than you:

    a) this is about money. Nobody tried to measure lives in monetary terms. This is not about lives, this is about cleaning up a mess that a company is responsible for, very simple. Dont make a drama out of this.

    b) America has WHAT? I remember the mess was caused by exuberant Joes on the street who believed all of deserve a home, no matter how much you earn. This is a mess MADE IN AMERICA, and this mess is far far from over. I dare to say this is only the start of one of the largest economic tragedies in the past 200-300 years. Nowhere in history has a civilization lived by borrowing beyond any reasonable means. In very simple terms, Americans are not working hard enough for what they consume and wish to own. Dont dare to make any other country responsible for this huge mess.

    c) I can find clean water in about 200 other countries around the globe. You may not have traveled a whole lot (at least you dont sound like), yet comfortable life styles are to be had in a lot of other countries. For instance, I never witnessed any other people aside the Japanese that have been more cheerful and excited to board the airplane back home in the end of their vacation.

    d) Diversity? Yes, equality? No!!! I dont think I need to further explain, just walk around any given city in the US and you know what I mean.

    e) This is the whole issue, that BP is made an example of. They should have politely declined the invitation to the white house, surrendered their US operations and withdrawn. Very simple. This is how the administration should have been dealt with. How dumb was BP to enter into this agreement? Think about it, what did this 20bn deal give them? Seemingly nothing!!! Obama stressed that this is not meant to be a capped amount, secondly, he mentioned that it does not supersede the right for people to sue in court. LOL, so what did this give BP? I have never seen a dumber CEO over the past 15-20 years, seriously!!!

  5. Yeah, didn't require a PhD to realize it was time to buy some quality oil stocks when the assclowns on Elite started multiple "BP going to zero!!!!!" threads.

  6. your example does not make the slightest sense. To apply it correctly, its as if you are forced by your travel agent to pay 12000 dollars for a party of 2 for a week in Paris. You ask him, "why so expensive"? "Well", he replies, "because I estimate thats how much its gonna cost us to get you there, do you pay now or can we sue your ass because you already signed on the agreement to have us arrange your trip". Rightfully you would ask "can you give us any sort of logical and plausible breakdown of the cost, because your number looks like an air castle".

  7. Now that you are back on point- showing that you do have some intelligence maybe people will start to listen to you again.

Before you plunder a company you make them agree to set aside some their assets now with a valid excuse. Put 20 billion aside. So when we cut your throat there is enough left to pay for the hospital bill. As much as you try to hide who you are I see your expertise in the words you say. However you don't understand the environment we trade in. We are not trading on fundamentals in this market we are trading on emotions and in the meantime more wealth has been created in these past 2 years than in an entire century.

Prior to 2008 there was trillions on the sidelines. The bailout had to secure this money. A portion of the society were given loans which were not supposed to be given however its the by product of these loans which bankrupted the system.

Your points are valid in the market but Like JIM CRAMER says- "You know nothing about American Society" Only in America can anyone make it from nothing to something on a large scale regardless of background regardless of class and regarless of where you come from. BP effects more than the coasts it effects our way of life...

Its not about the shrimp... its about securing the public sentiments so the future drilling will be safer and any company doing so will adhere to guidelines. Watch the short interest over the next few months.

January 7 puts are active which means we can reach 5 by May 2011.
Watch as BP executives begin resigning in droves and taking days off to go on interviews. - The American way----:)
We don't do Hary Kari here/////. We go to the ladders and apply for 100k plus jobs online.

  8. spoken like a true red neck. I could not find a single comment of yours that was not based completely on emotions and feelings rather than rational and logic. I never denied that this whole BP debate is emotionally charged but thats exactly what I am criticizing. I have no idea what BP got itself into nor do I understand in the slightest why the British government is keeping silent to this outrageous theft. Enough said, I really dont like to debate with those who cannot do so on a factual basis. All you said was that Americans can charge BP whatever they are asking for because they feel so. Great logic.
