Boxter or Z4?

  1. That answer works fine for me. Now we have a mutual perception of each other. So why not leave it at that?

I tried to invite you for dinner and drinks. But you twisted it from an invitation in Boca, were you implied you would be, to a dinner in Monaco at my expense. Travel and all.

You thrive on animosity and confrontation. And insult by innuendo.

Call me personally, or don't. If you do, I will honor my promises. But expect no answers from me here. No upside for me, and I am not here for your amusement.

Don't forget that I posted my ski pass from Chamonix which you claimed I never had been to. So your response was to distort my picture. I posted pictures of me skiing the Vallee Blanche, but again, this was meaningless to you. Pictures of my wife in the dug out glacier where Italy meets France on top of the mountain. Still not good enough.

You dared me to tell you where I got my French Visa in 1999 and then proclaimed there was no such thing when I told you it was issued in Chicago. But when I posted the visa, you said you lied because YOUR lie was for the "greater good" or some such nonsense.

You claimed I could not have been in Monaco when I said I was, and the picture of my son on the beach was just some kid. But somehow I managed to take his picture in a different outfit on the next day in the next town. Amazing really. And still, you clung to your theory that my son was not my son. I may be a sick puppy, but how would you describe yourself?

Bottom line, is yes, I am a sick puppy for letting myself fall prey to your games. And you are a sick puppy for playing them.

Now you can shit or get off the pot. Call me or don't. But PLEASE leave me out of your posts!

  2. Where was this post? Must have been some other forum you were called on.

As far as the kid; admit this: that picture as presented, could be of any child, not neccessarily your child. That's the truth isn't it? It proves that there is a kid in the photo, nothing more. So stop using it as "proof" you seem to so desperately need.

  3. It would appear to most detached observers that you are the one in desperate need of proof.

  4. No Max, you never did ask these generic questions. But you had some things to go with. I have had none with you.

I clearly remember asking you what time zone you live in. Not what city, what town, what state or even what country. Not even what hemisphere. Just the time zone. But is was too big a secret for you to divulge.

So where would I start asking you questions. The obvious answer is NOWHERE. And that was the point of my post. I got EXACTLY the answers I expected. None. They were rhetorical questions at best, and got the answers they deserved. But what questions can be asked of a phantom?

    Are we finished now?

"Begging to break bread" is a far cry from an open invitation to sit and try and understand one another. But I am very quickly losing my interest. I only wanted to see what kind of guy you were, because I have never come across anyone as unique as you before. Sure, I have known plenty of idiots like Longshot, and his many aliases, but you seemed different. Intelligent and worldly. So I really wanted to see what make a seemingly bright and thoughtful person so confrontational and bitter. And also, I was hoping I had judged you wrongly. Hoped to be impressed by you. But unless you make the call, it will always be a mystery to me.

But rest assured. I will answer no more personal questions for you here. Not ever.

  5. Really Max, your memory is fading. There was not ONE picture at one location of this "any" kid. There were also other pictures of the same "any" child at different times, at different places and wearing different clothing. You are REALLY grasping at straws!

Unless you think I stalked the kid all over the Riviera in anticipation of needing these photographs to prove something to you some 14 years later? How about using a little logic and common sense?

Or better yet, just drop it all completely. You can make issues out of the most absurd things imaginable. And now I realize that maybe my invitation to you was purely a mistake. Maybe you really are dangerously ill. And I don't need any part of that.

  6. My only question is:

Why haven't your exercised your right to put him on ignore?

There must be some payoff for you to continue the engagement.

  7. the thing about "ignore" is it really doensn't work. Because I will still his his posts quoted in other posts. And besides, he is so entertaining why would I want to miss all of his nonsense.

And in Max's defense, he has been helpful in technical issues. I don't dislike Max. I sort of like him. Strange bedfellows and all. I loved my wife when she was dying of cancer. Why can't I like Max even though I understand he is mentally ill? Just because someone is not healthy that does not make them a bad person. Or someone to abandon. And there is always hope for a cure.

  9. What sort of reputation does the Subaru Impreza WRX STI have over there in the States?

  10. If that is the small car with the hood scoop, my son, who is 18 thinks it is very cool. As do his friends.

Seems to be a high price for such a small car, but I am sure it is a superb vehicle for it's purpose. Rather like a Lexus I300 I would imagine. No WRX Turbo sold in the US.

    Peace,
