    No woulda, shoulda, coulda, maybe.
Only real money, real time (in close proximity) calls.
    Thanks for your understanding.

Listed on ASX, EVO is opening in a minute, Evolve Education manages NZ early childhood centres. Large volume increase yesterday, I was watching it build throughout the day. That's the only drawcard seen, there is no news about anything pending other than old news on directors rotating and some given the heave ho.
This sort company does nothing for me as an investor, not interested in holding or accumulating, my preferences lay in mining companies. EVO is losing money as a business.
Taking a quick stab, in and out I assume over a few days if it runs. Should it not run will still bale out.
EVO looking at chart has been listed 5 years and constantly fallen the whole period.
Not taking a large position, just $3k will do it, as mentioned am not in love with this type stock, I have been burnt before on listed Education providers but just taking the trade like I would target practice, keep my eye in and because the price action offers the temptation. My experience is often the most unlikely stocks run so am not ruling out on any future for this trade - I don't like it but I will take it. Note: should price gap up too much on open I will abort.
Bottom fishing ideas in this thread is not a recommendation for anyone.
I will edit in a few minutes my entry price if actioned.
I will post at a later date the exit.
    In at $0.1075.

  8. MDR. McDermott is a big name in particularly offshore construction, and especially in the oil patch. They have been around quite a long time and they are not going away soon. Looking at reorganizing and probably selling off a $2.5B subsidiary. It is now selling at under $2. I am holding 1600 shares and I think it will see $6 by the end of next year. It might go up in the near term but that gain will be peanuts, relatively speaking. It is just a bit oversold, maybe. But when it REALLY goes up I am thinking it will be triumphant.

Of course I could be wrong. Motley Fool says don't buy it. I bought it anyway.

  9. TPB. Turning Point Brands sells Other Tobacco Products, like rolling papers (they make Zig Zag if you've used it), CBD, chewing tobacco and vapes. Stock is down 60% in the past couple months on fears of vaping bans, but they've stated in a press release that the FDA is looking specifically into Vitamin E Acetate, which they claim they don't use. Additionally, less than half their EBIT is from vaping sales and two analysts reitereated their price targets of $56. I'm thinking the next earnings will make it clear they're healthier than imagined, and it looks like it's about to turn around now. I'm in for a few thousand at $23.50. Will look to add if reversal becomes clear.

  10. What's the reason behind the drop? Why would it turn around now?
