Like was said in the other case: this is due to ranking; this stock too comes among the top ones of the sorted list. In future I'll post some more info to each pick.
yeah I bet he never saw that in his simulated data set hahaha. "If it is not modeled on botpro's computer, it does not exist!"
I think with such a big stock that little position of ~$20k should be no problem regardless of opt qty or OI, don't you think so? The MMs and the HFT bots would be happy...
The reason was already given; just trying it with public delayed data. Ie. making a feasability study..., so to say... Never mind, it's just a game, everything is open to verify for everybody with or without RT.
Yes, I indeed had thought about that, but you first need to build up the infrastructure, ie. set up a server, offer web and api-link etc. It would take some time to develop, set-up, test, convince others of its usefulnes etc...
It might be a matter of taste, but I personally find historical volatility of 3 months more useful. Regarding volume: come on, that small options position of $20k is no problem at all for such big stocks, regardless of the opt qty or OI.
Yeah, another epic fail: Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. (VRX) -NYSE 37.98 31.06(44.99%) 11:44AM EDT - Nasdaq Real Time Price You told me nothing, and if so, then surely nothing new. It is very normal, man, just imagine what the Gauss-curve says... And know that there are more than 7000 stocks in US markets, so expect some such big movers up and down... Btw, such movements are of course unnormal, they have their cause in external factors like failing an FDA approval test etc... In Biotech companies such shakers are normal, most people know that... But, you are unfortunately off-topic here with VRX, because it is not traded here... And: watch out how you call me in your posting...
