Boston traders?

  1. Hello all -
Just moved to the Boston area and have a couple of questions regarding trading here. I've been giving serious thought to trying to get onto a trading desk, or possibly the BSE. I have NO IDEA where to begin, as I know nobody here and have somewhat limited knowledge of the institutional side of things. I am a trader - a good one IMHO - trading (profitably) for 2+ years. I love trading from home, and hate to give up the lifestyle, BUT I am coming down with a serious case of cabin fever. I know I could of course trade at a retail office, but I can't help feeling that if I don't get out and explore the many options here that I may be missing out on a (much?) bigger picture.
So does anyone know Boston? Any thoughts, opinions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
