Your probably right that its a curse. Andrew Carnegie emphasized to rich parents not to leave their wealth to their offspring for they will squander it and not be productive. Now, can anyone name a rich offspring who created more wealth than their parents? (don't mention sports figures)
I think the question can also include famous people too.... Any offspring that accomplished more than their famous parent? I know some would say JFK since he was president but some would attribute his father Joe as to putting the family name on the map. Joe may have had quite a few contacts to help his son get in. Kinda hard to judge in politics as you don't know what goes on behind closed doors.
