So I've had a buy order in for JO (coffee futures) for about a month...Just to see if I could get it below $50. It's for 100 shares and it's in my Roth IRA. My buy was in for $49.91...It got filled today (most of the market is down). I then did a covered call for the March 22 $53....I got $4.30 ($430.) for the option. Not knowing where to put some of my money on the sidelines, I figured this was an OK move...
