This sorts of things often happen. Have you ever think of a solution? More than half of the time, the market is choppy. Is it the market you trade is very volatile most of the time, or are you still ok with just some small fluctuations, say 10-20pips?
Rarely find market boring. Watching the screen as well as both CNBC and Bloomberg. Learn something new almost daily. If volume is light, like day before holiday, I'll turn computer off and do something else. One of the advantages of working for yourself. Started with $200K. Wife is supportive as long as I'm paying the bills. Left well-paying job to do this. Don't regret it.
... *sigh*... There's always jacking off... don't be embarrassed.... if you're a remote trader... you prolly would have done it... every once in a while...
IMO it's good to be bored trading....shows we are not excited and keeping the emotions suppressed. Trading SHOULD be boring.
Bored? Try this http://www.seethru.co.uk/zine/south_coast/helicopter_game.htm or this http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/ But don't blame me if you miss that perfect set up.
Play World of Warcraft and 6.5hrs will fly by in no time. Alt tab out when you see a trade on your multiple monitors. www.worldofwarcraft.com
