In IB´s Booktrader i created a buy button to send a limit order 5 cents above the current ask price. In the configuration i set "Transmit the order instantaneously". In Booktrader default size and buttons are "armed". When clicking on the buy button the order doesn´t get transmitted but instead a order window opens where you have to click on "transmit" to send the order. This doesn´t make sense to me. Have i overlooked something?
