dan, your post regarding NLP, hypnosis and so-called eastern methods was quite intriqing. the differences between eastern and western techniques are huge. NLP as well as hypnotism is a mentally invasive method of affecting change. one grabs a hold of the self and forces change. whereas eastern thought teaches flowing with the self to reach another level. as the lyrics to some forgotten song go--" a tear in the hand of a western man, he will tell you about salt, carbon and water--a tear in the hand of an eastern man, he will tell you about heartache, sadness and sorrow". i utilize aspects of both the east and the west in my trading and life. all the best, surf
One of my favorites is The Intuitive Trader by R.Koppel.Helped me to trust what my eyes and gut were telling me.
I like Oliver Velez' MasterTrader book (and his videos.) Also, Alex Elder's two books. And, last, but, don't yell at me Ryan Jones' "Trading Game" book.
Hey nitro is it true Paul Tudor Jones wrote the foreword? Does he say anything noteworthy / interesting?
