book trader vs button

For DAV, the last column on TWS main window for any Forex pairs is not updating. I only see Cxxxx.xxx. This also affect BookTrader when you see it. It will re-center at the closing price. I am using Build 879.

Going back to 878 to be safe.

 

Button trader is a little too complicated and pricey to me actually. BookTrader is clearly the direction IB has gotten right.

 

a quick question:

has anybody of you encountered problems with ib's booktrader?
e.g. not updating the cumulative size or non-working hotkeys...

very annoying to watch the same numbers until I close the window and open it again..

Yeah .... ive noticed same problem.

 

Try to trade forex with it. It doeesn't even work. TWS b833 is very slow. How does having a theme in TWS help traders? The color is irritating to the MAX.

 

Is there something you can do about it or is the only option the move to other front end versions?
