Bono's BS

    What religious threads?

Religion is about separating reality from illusion..."rock" from "sand", so to speak. It is not appreciated by those who are heavily invested in illusion, and the institutions they build on it.

Religion is "not for the faint of heart". Nazareth was a nice little town. The only problem was that it was not at all real.

Can't we all just get along?

you are walking on a thin line and you know that.
i am not sure if i got it right, but it sounds like in
paragraph one you seem to say that i am too sensitive
when i assume you want the unfit eliminated and in
paragraph two you more or less propose exactly that.
somehow hidden, but still present. at least i read the
    subtext like that.

your final paragrap seems to ignore that it was the
intelligents who created a geopolitical situation in
which many people emigrate from their homeland
    because they must.

i guess i am not hysterical. i see your opinions very
near to fascism. a belief system i find first wrong and
    second plain stupid.

Do not confuse the matter. You know what I meant. You said you are disgusted becaused I said I do not care for African blacks (meaning I don't do anything for them).Just like 99.9% of people on the planet, by the way. Now tell me how much you care, how much better your "values" are(meaning what do you do for them)?
Just opening your mouth and say "I care" doesn't mean a shit. Actually,at least, it makes you feel goooood and you think you are a better person. In my vocabulary you are somebody who can't even recognize your own bullshit because I don't believe for a second you do anything for those unfortunate blacks in Africa.
Word has no substance by itself.

  4. Hmm, subtext? Not sure abou that. Try reading the real text. :)

Seriously, what subtext did you see there? I'm just pointing out facts. It's logically straightforward to say that if we executed all criminals, there would be less crime--even if not for the deterrant effect, certainly for the elimination of repeat-offender effect. And yet we don't do that. Despite the undesirability of crime, we don't do that. So why would begin executing people have done nothing except be born less smart? There's just no moral case for it. Do you read a genocidal subtext into my proposition that we end welfare to single mothers? Or that we make its provision contingent on voluntary sterilization? Is there anything at all I can say that doesn't start me down the slippery slope of genocide?

How so? If only we had never advanced beyond the level of civilization in Africa, Africans would have no incentive to move to our shores?

  5. Why don't you just tell your kid the truth? Overall, the very fastest and most explosive runners tend to be blacks. Then explain that it doesn't mean that any black is fast than any white, only that, on average, there will be more speedier black guys. I mean, what the hell, he's gonna eventually reach that conclusion himself anyway, even though the powers that be will insist it's all an illusion. You don't have to give the genetic argument (maybe you yourself don't even believe it), just say, no one really knows why, but yeah, at the moment, the fastest guys are the blacks. I don't think even ZZzz could have a problem with that.

now that gets funny. in MY vocabulary to "not care" and
not "do" is a difference. if someone say i do not care he
is telling another story. there are many circumstances
where someone would "care" yet be unable to "do". but
if you don't care why should you ever do? well, in the
end admittedly hairsplitting. and since i am not an
english native i might be completely wrong. sorry if so.

btu what is really funny that you assume i must be
talking BS. you have not the slightest hint in that
direction, just someone who says things like i do must
    be a liar. strange.

well, maybe you are just faster with your writing than
with your brain and i should not take your words too
seriously. you seemed to be intentionally flirting with
a couple of serious concepts, but maybe you were not
really serious about them. easy with me. no prob. do
not need to take this any further, if you don't mind.

just a note in africa. what you call civilisation has ruined
their whole economic, social and cultural infrastructure.
    that is why they leave.

  8. I "seemed to be flirting" because you are already predisposed to believe the very worst about me. In reality, I have been quite consistent throughout, and everything I have suggested is quite consonant with modern moral concerns. Anyway, convincing anybody of that is a task that appears to lie beyond me, so no, I don't mind leaving this discussion here. Maybe I'll give it another go in 20 years or so, when the results of the current disastrous policies will be more apparent. In the meanwhile, I predict legions of policitians and pundits, by wilfully ignoring inherent human inequalities, will continue to be baffled about how to explain the phenomena they observe, and exasperated that attempts to correct social ills produce meagre or no results.

I am non-English too and I managed to learn the difference between "do" and "care". Now follow me, by the same(yours) logic there is a difference between "do" and "care" and in the same way there is a difference between people who do and those who just say they care. Yes and yes there is a huge difference. You just lost the argument purely on logic.

Reg. me making an assumption about you, it's based on probability. 99.99% of people do not do anything about an "African problem" and yes I believe if you ask them they will tell you they care.

ah. well i usually do not base claims that someone
is talking bullshit on probabilities of the rest of the
population. just consider someone is coming to the
nobel price comitee claiming he found something
extraordinary and they turn him down with "bullshit"
and base that on the fact that the odds are against
him finding something of relevance ... since 99.99%
    of people don't.

let's face it. you feel a little embarassed since you got
caught with not being overly careful with what you
wrote. easy with me. we don't have to take this one
    any further as well.
