bonds easier than index?

  1. No, I don't average down.

Risk is typically 4 to 8 ticks on a daytrade. I also hold profitable daytrades overnight and sometimes for days.

  2. spreadem:

Are you trading ZB, ZN or ZF? 4 ticks for ZB is very tight, isn't it?

Is holding a position overnight quite risky? They could suddently gap up or down.

  3. I trade zb, and zn currently zbu3.

Holding overnight with the electronic contracts gives the ability to close a trade out at anytime without much gap.

  4. What kinda stops do some of you use trading the ZN, if say scalping for a few ticks using a 3 min chart?

  5. mark cook spoke once at a trader forum about

his trading bonds risking more than he would make per trade

but the kicker is ... he claimed to be profitable way more times

than losses so he would be net profitable after a series

    of trades

I have tried his methods but no luck :(
