Bond yields at lowest levels in 3+ months

  1. So I guess with interest rates going down we can then attribute even higher valuations to stocks?

    Just kidding.

Okay -- so what does everyone think about where yields are headed and the implications?

  2. On another thread, the consensus for 2004 appears to be that bond yields can only go higher, because the economy is expanding, commodities are rallying hard, etc.

And as I said earlier, 2004 will be known for how the consensus opinion will be wrong!

    :)

  3. was chatting with my barber the other day, and we started to talk about finances and he said rates were going up this year.

then I turned on Bloomberg and every bond guru was forecasting higher rates. After that I read some print with traders looking for higher yields.

Hmmmm.... Now if gurus traders, and even laymen are looking 4 higher yields what do you suppose my strategy would be....?
