    4) Buying 115 315 which is marked by the second smaller oval. I pretty much had to close my eyes and buy there as I'm loathe to buy at the highs, but PA was quite obvious there that we would hit 116 010 at a minimum.

    P.S. I am jealous.

  5. Trade stats incorrectly state the total net profit as I haven't plugged commissions into the configuration. My commissions totaled roughly 70 USD today for 20 round turns. It sure beats Mann Financial and Jack Carl futures from back in the late 1990's. I don't remember exact figures but I think I was paying 45 USD a RT with Jack Carl, and maybe 30 USD with Mann.

Also, apparently NT doesn't count an exit at the same price as the entry against you. In my book it is, but not with NT, hence the 100% result correct on the short trades when I would have counted them as 50% correct.

I posted the previous details to document what a solid day means as well as quell any doubts that what I'm doing is not real.

Not that anyone has asked. Everyone has been a good sport.

It has been a long hard road. About 15 years. Yes, I still work a very lucrative day job, and, no, I don't always make 1500 USD a day. My size and trading income vary depending on market conditions. I've been very gun shy since the beginning of the year. Only recently have I started trading 4 lots again. I've written about why previously.

  7. ivanbj,

    Thanks!

No need to be jealous. The quickest route (and there isn't one really) would be to study Market Profile, and any of the multitude of pivot systems. Then you would study market geometry, and finally timing.

Note that I don't use all of Market Profile, but I do feel it can be helpful and since most people probably won't know or care about WGSR, it is an alternate path. I personally think my WGSR is better. Actually I know it is better.

    Regards,

    John

  8. I hear you, however you may be underestimating the size of your balls in addition to MP and WGSR. I am working on getting brass balls. The cost is time.

BTW any links for WGSR? I have a mental block towards market cycles. I buy MP and market geometry in a big way. Predicting time cycles seems voodoo to me.

  9. Great trading, John. I have a question regarding the 10:32:32 post in your BookTrader. The cost of the buy is shown as 116.234. Should it not be 116.075

  10. John - Just to clarify my post. If there is something wrong, it is a mistake by IB, not you.
