OK, I'm probably done posting for the day...I just missed the trade I posted about previously!

I took a less than ideal entry anyway. So, targets are 114 09 followed by 114 00. Hopefully we will hit 114 09 at a minimum. I may get out there following my late entry rule.

  3. 0938 out at 114 105 on 75%. I don't have a feel at the moment so I am out on 3/4. I'll let the other stop out at break even. I still think we will break through these lows, but I have a time limit on trades as well as various soft rules about trades approaching entries that are telling me to exit the bulk now.

OK, out at 114 090, and leaving a single lot in case we test 114 00.

  6. That is it for me. I've bagged my daily limit. In conclusion, we are in a down trend per my hourly system. I would look to short at ideal entries between 114 18 and 114 28. There is a lot of room between those two levels so use your own discretion. Remember, price behaviour determines whether an approach to S/R will violate or fail.

  7. Hourly long signal occurred into the close around 114 20. Based on recent past experience this signal should be worth 8 - 16 ticks. We might have a shot at 115 08.

Remember, it all depends on price. Bottom line, you didn't have to wait until this post to know that we might get a long signal. The third failure test of the lows should have told you that bonds would go higher into the close.

  8. ES gave a buy signal at 0630 this AM and hasn't looked back since. If you day trade the ES based on a 1 minute chart it is quite humbling to see the steady hand of this signal. And no, I didn't make use of it today. Also, had I been trading the ES I probably would have gotten caught up in the noise and did a mix of buys and sells based on the 1 min, instead of only buying dips based on the strength of this 1 hour signal.

Hourly turned short at roughly 0125 CST. I started shorting on the approach and break through 114 28. This is a key number I've mentioned several times.

First target is 114 12, however it is possible this will be a very quick scalp trade instead. Bottom line, it is looking like yesterday was simply an opportunity to sell at a solid price.
