  1. I'll have to pay closer attention to the above next time. My WG indicator is set up to collect tick by tick information, display each numerical value at each tick, but print the histogram taking into account the 1 minute bar only. The numbers printing tick by tick as we approached a high re-test were extremely negative, hence my caution in the above quote.

0741 out of ZB's at 107 31. Up for the day so far, but small profits.

The next logical buy is 107 27 or 107 28. 107 28 is more important.

  2. Almost all of the negative WG was completed prior to the close below 108 02. A lot of positive WG was performed on the way down to these recent lows which put us in the middle of the WG range I mentioned pre-market. My take is one more re-test of the highs.

  3. 0751 If we break decisively above 108 02 I believe a test of the highs are a given.

I'm long at 108 00. Very late entry so small size.

0800 Out at 107 30. No point in going down to the bottom of the range. I will wait.

  4. If I had gotten in at 107 29 or 107 30 like I wanted to, then the above would have been a 3 - 4 tick profit trade at least on half. Late entries will kill a working system.

  5. plenty of headfakes today. Difficult to ascertain any trend. I got in at 108 00, we'll see how that pans out.

  6. So are you telling us that your system gave you a long @ 107 -29/30 but instead you bought prematurely at 108-00?

  7. Look to exit at 108 15 on longs.

  8. Obviously I meant 108 03. In any event, today has been a very excellent day. I published the WG range earlier today prior to the market open.

I started buying small size at 0844 and kept on buying 1 and 2 lots all the way up to 108 05 where I stopped because I knew I was chasing at that point. What happened is, the minute I would get filled on 1 or 2 lots, I would see that the move was really strong, and go back and put in an additional order which wouldn't get filled, raise my limit, etc etc.

I'm probably done for the day. I have no idea why this spike occurred but boy did it feel good.

    Good Trading!

  9. Bought a 2 lot at 108 15 not expecting much as we are at the top of a range here. What do we do? Shoot up to 108 19. I'm going to try and hold for 108 20.

  10. 0918 Out at 108 16. It was a lark trade anyway. Oh well. Posting here kept me from taking the 4 ticks when offered. Price came down, approaching my entry, and my rule kicks in.

Speaking of posting here, I'm finding more and more that it really is detrimental to my trading. In addition, I believe I may not be as clear as I thought I was.

Personally posting that 107 28 is incredibly important, and that 108 02 is also important seems like more than enough....*&^%!....we are at 108 21 right now as I type.

In any event, I think I may go to a single post with times and levels. I think all of my inner dialog is just noise which is confusing.
