  1. 0735 CST Sorry too hectic to post real-time. Per last post, I was not going to hold long after 0700 so I got out before the reports, at around 106 27.

At the moment I would like to buy, but I definitely don't like the spike up to 107 05 followed by prices now at 106 26.

I'm going to wait until this works itself out.

  2. 0740 CST Bought 4 ZB 107 02....what a terrible order, while posting here I missed entries at 107 28 and 107 29.

  3. 0744 CST Out at 107 03. I'm rather upset at the moment. A trader can't pass up easy money like that. This is idiotic. A trade like that makes up for 3 hours of a 4 tick range.

I need to regroup. I may not post for the rest of the day.

  4. 0753 Bought ZB's 107 06.

    Looking for 107 08 at a minimum.

My hourly has a target of 107 16. That is ideal. I may stop myself out depending on price. My thoughts are, as of this time, to buy dips and that we'll make an attempt for 107 16 sometime today. That is all for now.

Off to a very bad start today.

  5. 0852 Looking to exit on any spike up over 107 08 pre-report.

I still think we will see 107 16 today.

  6. 0853 CST The 0730 reports were leaked early so leaking the 0900 early will be par for the course. It could also be a head fake.

0854 I have orders in to exit at 107 16 on the ZB's and 105 150 on the ZN's. I bought them when we drifted down below 107 05 on the ZB's.

  7. 0902 Market was moving too fast but I'm out at 107 03.

So far a mediocre day. If we hold 107 01 I will enter for a test of the highs.

  8. 0907 OK, it is looking strong. I'm going to buy very soon. May not be able to post. Looking for 107 03 - 107 06.

Any break below 107 00 negates all bullish bias and price targets. I think at that time I'll just close my eyes, short a couple of contracts and go to bed.

0911 We've made two attempts at 107 01 and failed to break through. Each attempt at previous highs has resulted in another high, albeit only by 1 tick. I'm still leaning towards a slow grind to 107 16.

  9. 0921 Sold ZB's at 107 03 looking for a break of lows. The 1 minute looks bad. A lot of divergence. Third test of low may break.

0924 Borrowing a page from MoveTimer's book, take a look at the 0800 4 min bar and place a horizontal line there. It really doesn't matter where you put it on the bar, split the difference. That is what led me to go short.

I'm looking for a test of 106 31 followed by 106 29. Either place will be a solid exit. It really is hard to say how far this downmove will go. I'm not married to it.

  10. I couldn't post this at the time. Connection to ET timed out but my IB and data connection was perfect.

    0933 CST Out at 106 28 and 106 29.

Wow. That was one heck of a trade. Everything fired on all cylinders. I was bullish, I clearly stated the case for a bullish position, then I looked at the 1 minute, and I looked at my turning point times, and saw that we were about to break a significant support line at 107 04. I immediately went short. The rest is history.

Given the size I had on this last trade and the fact that I now have something to show for the day, I'm done.

I may make a few comments here and there.

    Good trading!
