  1. May need to consider exiting with 1 or 2 tick profit, i.e. 111 06 or better. Unfortunately, I hate being in a position pre-report, and it appears that this 0900 report on pending home sales is going to be the more important of the reports today. I think today is making out to be another slow day like yesterday, and the report could very well be a non-issue.

Any comments on the effect of this 0900 report? I haven't paid attention to it before.

  2. 0847 CST The 10 year is telling us something. It kissed the low of the day.

Looks like the kiss of the low in the 10 year was in orders less than 100 lots.

  3. 0852 CST Well, I should have followed my own advice and exited at 111 06. I'll maintain the trade, with the stop at 111 11.

  5. Quite the fake ride down wasn't it? Fortunately, I learned my lesson and tried to exit at 111 06 but had to settle for 111 07.

  6. 0913 Bought 4 ZN at 108 30. Short bias is over. There is a danger that we are simply going to trade in a very narrow range today. I'm banking on a short pop above 108 060.

If the trade doesn't work out, I'll call it a day.

    0921 CST Out at 108 20.

That is it for today. I'm off my game.

Per Friday's activity, there really isn't much follow through. Closing your eyes and buying at 111 06 an selling at 111 12 would have brought in some ticks today.

    Good trading to you!

I may stop in for the 0950 sell to see if it holds.

My thoughts and numbers are the same as yesterday. If you recall, this is what I posted early yesterday.

    "
    Some important numbers:

    112 00
    111 23
    111 17
    111 07
    111 04

My bias for today is to initially be short, and upon exit, to look for a nice long entry. This bias is short term.

    "

    I'm still looking for a break below 111 00 and a test of 110 26 or 110 27.

I'm short from yesterday's 0950 time cycle short where I put in a limit sell at 111 09 and walked away. I just went short again here at 111 10 and I have a stop in place at 111 14. This will be a bad way to start the day if I'm wrong, but something tells me we will test the low prior to going back up to 111 14.

    Good trading!

  8. Stop lowered to 111 12. No need to risk more. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Technically the 0950 cycle short made its profit, I just neglected to take the 5 ticks I was offered.

  9. Out at 111 11. No need to wait. Going to break for a few minutes.
