Boehner Blinks, Republicans Snatch Defeat From Jaws Of Victory

  1. That's brilliant. Everytime that idiot Karl Rove is on Fox I almost throw up.

From where I stand I don't see that we have a whole lot more to lose. Gay marriage, amnesty all but passed, socialized medicine, debt we can only pay by printing money, grads can't get jobs, no one can afford health care.

What exactly are the republicans so afraid of, other than losing their precious seats? If Obama is so narcissistic he would rather tank the economy than compromise, so be it.

  3. Full slate of republican surrender monkeys on the Sunday morning shows. It's no wonder Obama takes a hard line. He can see these losers will demand surrender on any terms.

They all keep saying they opposed obamacare but thought the defunding was a bad idea. This is so typical of the country club republican mindset, ie "Well, we did try but we lost so now let's be jolly good sports about it all and pitch in to help the other side."

If they had stood shoulder to shoulder with Cruz, Obama would have faced a united opposition and would have seen that he had to give. In truth, they wanted Cruz to fail more than they wanted to stop obamacare.

Obama will probably get more than he wanted from the republicans in the first place by the time this is all over. One would think that when he turns the cops into gestapo and humiliates crippled vets that it would work against him. People like john mccain see it differently.

There's a good book review at online wsj on a book called 'when germany went to the brink' about the twenties and thirties in Germany. I think it's the primary model that our elites look to today when thinking about how to deal with financial crisis.

The bottom line to the model of Germany is this. Germany's gov't was able to stay intact during hyperinflation. Same political parties in power and same parliament. When they went later into deflation, the wheels came off and Hitler came to power.

Gov'ts think they can handle hyperinflation based on this historical model. And it's why they speak with great fear and trepidation at the possibility of deflation. They fear it and will not allow it, as it is their heads on the line. What happens to the public is of secondary consideration.

Flipping through the channels earlier, Fox News said "53% of Americans blame republicans for the government shutdown." I'm afraid that any way we crumble this cookie, we're all finished up. Republicans are coming apart from the inside, and communist democrats are buying parasite votes, and getting away with it.

I used to think preppers were loons until I became a prepper myself. Those of you who are smart, know a revolution is sadly coming, and hopefully you're prepared for it...

The faster the better, so they can be replaced with some real conservatives and libertarians getting rid of all these RINO mofo's.

Though not a prepper per se I did just finish loading 400 rounds of 7.62 in 10 round stripper clips, stacked neatly in ammo cans.

Why is it that leftists and liberals always deny their associations?

You might not be a registered democrat but... when you call obamacare, obomney and blame republicans for its problems... and try to support the IRS vs the tea party there is no doubt which team you are playing for.

Have several thousand rounds of ammo on hand, and guns to hand to your trained Family to defend your home. Have a minimum of six months food for each Family member. I use canned foods, bags of rice, bags of beans, etc., as for water, you should store it, but if you don't, there are small filter systems for around $60 each that filter a million gallons.
