    Yes, I first met Arnold in 1975 when he came to town for an exhibition.

    For the users on here, this is a pretty accurate depiction of a man that I was fortunate enough to train with in the mid-late 70s.

  3. I think people take steroids because they see pics of other people that have taken them and they want similar results.

    They know the risks, but they start out by taking small quantities, and then they feel compelled to take more dangerous drugs or greater quantities. It's like people that start smoking. They know the dangers, but the do it anyhow. Ditto for illegal drugs. They know the dangers, but they always think that an overdoes or an addiction happens to others and not them.

    And every year a new crop of people start visiting gyms, and the cycle starts over.
