Bob's Bias

Discussion in 'Journals' started by bobcathy1, May 22, 2004.

  1. Hang in there. Bob'll get it right tomorrow! Heck, things could even turn around today.

Nobody can call 'em right 100%. Not even T-Rex or Trader Brad! :D

  3. Just so I understand, you are risking money on your husband's "gut-feel" from watching Bloomberg in the mornings?

Far be it from me to question your system - I guess it is just as good as flipping a coin. But, surely there are strategies that would give you a better edge?

    Regardless, best of luck.

    Not exactly.

This Bias is made up of looking for certain morning trends in the world markets and metals. Plus listening to the financial news of the day and taking note of market bias on certain events. Bob has degrees in Physics and Math. He has a genius IQ. Plus he was a successful card counter who got kicked out of every casino in Atlantic City.

Yesterday I lost $900 since I trade more contracts. But 80% of the days I make at least twice that.

Flipping a coin is only 50%. That would be foolish.:)

Because there is a high probability of reversal close to that time.

On my other system, I only trade mornings because of higher volume on ER2. That is not as easy to explain in a column like this. Though I make a stab at it on my web page. PM me if you want the URL.
