And government programs never grow faster than the government predicts. It's probably safe to say $6 trillion over about 7 years. Just look at Medicare.

It was a landline under Reagan. Obama took the cell phone shift and grew it to $2.2 billion last year from about $800 million in 2008

Bush had the Clinton recesession then got us to grow out of it. Obama can't get anything to grow but debt. And, Obama doubled the cost of the SNAP program in just 4 years.

It was $78 billion last year. Nearly as much as the Sequester that Obama says is going to almost shut down government services.

If you had to count to $78 billion at one dollar per second 24/7 it would take you over 2400 years. That's how LITTLE $78 billion is.

You really should quit supporting all of the Obama lies and mismanagement of the government. This is just aweful, AK.

  3. 1.Its not safe to say Obamacare will cost 6 trillion in 7 years

2.Reagan phones switched to cell phones in 2008.Obama was not president in 2008 when that move was made which made its cost increase along with more people being eligible for it due to Bushs recession

3.The Clinton recession and the bush recession aren't even in the same stratosphere.Bush didn't come into office losing 500,000-800,000 jobs a month.Bush also came into office with a balanced budget

4.With all the people suffering from bushs recession the cost of snap is going to go up .It is a problem but Bush increasing defense spending 426 billion a year (and republicans want to increase it more) is a bigger problem .40 billion democrats vs 426 billion republicans. How long would it take to count 426 billion ?

Dept of homeland security cost 65 billion a year,a cost created by bush and the republican congress. While you're complaining about Reagan phone cost increasing 1 or 2 billion or food stamp costs increasing 40 billion you want to put the people in office who increased defense spending 426 billion a year and homeland security 65 billion a year.Thats just awful pspr :(

It's not safe? Well, expect that it will balloon quite steeply from $100 billion + per year to trillions. Unless it can be stopped or chopped.

Yes. In the Obama years Obama gave phone contracts to two of his big donors and started marketing the program as Obamaphones. It skyrocketed. Just look at obamaphone.net

Well both recessions were caused by excesses of Democraps so it doesn't matter. Besides, Obama can balance the budget any time. Instead he presents record breaking $1 trillion deficits every year. He even keeps fighting a 2.5% cut in federal spending. It's peanuts.

And what difference does it make on the job losses? Obama doesn't even count them. He doesn't start counting until after job losses bottom. If you count from day one he's only created 55,000 jobs in 4 years! LOL

It's the democraps subprime mortgage recession. They are the ones who buried us in that crisis.

You don't know crap about the defense spending. Of course it goes up during war. War authorized by democraps and republicans. You would have done nothing after 9/11? You would have been a fool then.

As far as a percent of GDP, defense spending is not out of line. In fact it is down from previous years.

As we've talked about before. Obama could cut DHS but instead he is turning it into his personal gestapo. Lay that one on Obama for expanding it tremendously.

And, if you want to talk about what is bankrupting us the most, the Democraps won't let social security, medicaid, medicare or obamacare be touched. These alone are going to send us over the cliff and your team won't even talk about them. That is unconscionable, AK. You need to quit supporting these far left morons.

Obama's using military deployment as a negotiating tactic against republicans. No deficit? Fine, no military.

That puts the Republicans in real danger, because if they don't give in they could end up proving we don't need a war department.
