Has any one seen this, I have a ATI Radeon VE dual monitor card it has a analog and a digital output. It is hooked up to 2 17" NEC LCD which both have analog only inputs. The question is why is the LCD hooked up to the digital output on the card (using a included D/A converter) never as sharp as the other? I switched the monitor and it's always the monitor plugged into the digital port.

Has anyone seen this? Is it common or is it just my video card?

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. Mr. X, Sir:

Unfortunately, that is just the way it is with that card. I have a few so I know, and have also heard about it from others too.

One option is to get a cheap Radeon 7500 PCI card for your second monitor. Then you'll also have a few DVI ports available for more monitors later.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I would defiantly not recommend the Radeon VE card to anyone since it is really annoying to the eyes having the second monitor so blurry.

I will defiantly try the second PCI card.

    Thanks.
