There's a lot of buying of Bored Apes and Mutants (and even on BAKC), the price floors are rising. Apecoin also going up but bitcoin is up and all of cryptos are up so that's not unusual

I'm lurking on the BAYC Discord but there's no official announcement

Anyway, this smells of insider information that something is about to happen, imho

Great article on the emerging creator economy, nft's and the rise of the solo corporation:

What’s the one thing in every hedge fund titan’s portfolio that you’re probably not investing in?

A-R-T. In fact, 84% of ultra-high-net-worth individuals collect art according to a 2019 Deloitte survey. It makes sense—contemporary art returned 13.6% per year over the last 25 years vs. 8.9% for the S&P 500. And with the total art market expected to balloon from $1.7T to $2.6T by 2026, it’s no wonder that the price of paintings have skyrocketed.

One New York startup is at the center of it all: Masterworks. They’ve fractionalized multimillion-dollar masterpieces by KAWS, Basquiat, Banksy, and more—and you can be a part of it. If you're tired of meme stocks and are looking for an elite, non-correlated asset class, check out Masterworks today.

I went deep on Masterworks in January, have invested in four of their paintings, and am looking to add more. The best part? I've partnered with Masterworks to let Not Boring subscribers skip their 27,000 person waitlist.

    Hi friends ,

Happy Monday! Hope everyone’s thawing out after last week’s winter weather.

In late January, I wrote about NFTs in my essay on The Value Chain of the Open Metaverse. I told you about projects like NBA TopShot and $WHALE. Since then, both of those have exploded. $WHALE has more than doubled. But as I’ve mentioned before, I’m kind of an idiot, so of course, I didn’t buy either. I missed the run.

I’ve followed with interest, though, and while certain asset prices are clearly inflated, we’re nowhere close to reaching NFTs’ true potential. Art is a start, but NFTs may be one of the most powerful primitives created in a long time.

Today’s post is an exploration of the long-term potential of the short-term explosion of interest in NFTs, and in the Passion Economy. And there’s good news for all of us (assuming you’re a human): it’s a great time to be a person.

    Let’s get to it.

Started exploring more unknown artists in the ASH ecosystem. Not a blue chip, but the concept is definitely cool enough to become one someday!

I found a "trick" that seems to be working, lately on the NFT space

Whenever the "crypto whales" especially the ones that are active on NFT and Ethereum space are discussing a particular NFT project, I should just buy

It's how I found mfers, and also 29 days ago, Milady (cobie was tweeting about it), I got some Milady NFT's for 0.21-23 Eth each

(Incidentally, sold 2 mfers last week for around 3.5 Eth, way down from the over 6 Eth, but profits is still profits when I only paid 0.2x Eth for them)

Milady was trading for over 2 Eth, when Moonbirds first came out around 8 Eth and I have 4 Milady NFT's, and of course Moonbirds was being talked about by crypto twitter whales that I mentioned above , but I figured that's too high and may go down, anyway, as you know Moonbirds went up much higher

Sometimes it doesn't hit, I bought goopdoods, it doubled, but now lower than 0.27 Eth that I paid for it, sold it a few days ago for a little loss

I heard about Azuki when it was talked about in crypto twitter as Arthur_0x was hacked and had several of those in his million $ NFT collections, price was around 12 Eth for 1 Azuki but this was before the Beanz official airdrops x 2 for each Azuki

By the way, there's a project called FloorDAO which I guess has incorporated defi game theory incentives for sweeping price floors of NFT's that are part of it

It was boosting the price floor or Milady which is how I heard about it. I have no position on $Floor and not sure if it's a good crypto project but since it involves NFT's, you might be interested in what projects they interact with

I still have the Milady NFT's x4 which kinda pulled back from 2 Eth, hope it goes back up

Ending with a shill, saw a post on Twitter about OnchainMonkey, which I already have 1, thinking of buying a couple more OnchainMonkey just in case it does go up, it's backed by Bill Tai or some well funded people

OnchainMonkey gave me an airdrop of a dessert, which is worth 0.42 Eth price floor, it just showed up one day on my wallet

Just sharing if it might interest you

I've been a fan and recently picked up one of his works in the ASH2 drop. Super low entry point compared to his 1/1's.
