My 2nd journal, the first one is here. I started my account with 20K in February. I had a rough start trading things like YM, ES, HSI and some other random contracts but finally settled for gold. Up until last week I had a peak of 48K, but today the account sits at 22K. My trading style has been to counter-trend trade, often without stops. It's worked well until last week. I need to learn some discipline now, before I lose this chance to make trading a career. I'm taking out 10K to the side, and using what's left to trade. I'll be trading 1 contract at a time, using stops of 200-250. I hope to use this journal to make me more accountable for my actions. Starting amount: $12,250
