Corey is a good trader who handles good size positions very well, I know that he nailed those results for that day. It was a great day for all of us. As for today, well, in the spirit of the thread I thought I would put some numbers up myself. Traded around 140k shares today maybe slightly more! Good trading! Mike
$4,235 today?! Very impre$$ive, Mike! I see that you took Don's advice and cut your Opening Orders down to less than 50...
About 60% was made off of the open, the rest was made through out the trading day. At he close, I decided that GLW has rallied too much recently and would put a small position on.
I noticed that most of you who posted here traded in excess of 100K shares per day. Does everyone here trade that kind of volume? Anyone trading like 20K shares per day making nice coin? This just seems like a lot of volume to me but who am I to argue with those numbers -Guru
I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone making a serious living trading significantly less than 100k each day. There would be a few, but they're probably swing trading large positions. I wasn't making great money until at least 50k shares per day. Now at 200k per day and lots of room to grow. If you can keep active and size up slowly your volume will increase quite quickly. It also depends on what you're trading, of course.
A good screenshot software if you wanna buy one is snag it. If anyone knows of a free one I might post a few blotters. I won't be as inspiring as the one's already posted but I think 'putting up' a bit helps keep you honest. I made about $35 today after commissions, lol. It was a victory though, I was in the red early and climbed back ...DAMN CESSNA FLYIN' ASSHOLES!
Just get the 30-day free trial then set your computer clock back when it expires, since we're keeping it "honest". j/k I used the free trial, but had no use for it afterwards. Definately good if you want a visual record and I'm sure it's inexpensive.
